Evangelical Homes of Michigan has developed a program, and a corresponding piece of technology for seniors to use in their homes. The program, called "LifeChoices" allows for seniors to choose the services they need without paying for them individually. Whether they need therapy, home maintenance, or assisted living services eventually, LifeChoices offers them the flexibility they need as they age. They've also developed the CareConnect to help keep seniors engaged and to understand their needs better on a day to day basis.

Are other communities doing these kinds of things as well? I find this to be a fresh and innovative approach to retirement living. It also offers affordability, which has always been the major obstacle to home care and senior living.
