Denver, Colorado November 1, 2009 Publisher launches new brand of non-fiction books for senior citizens—The Senior Sleuth Guides—with plans to publish fifty-five titles in next five years.
Senior citizens buy books—a lot of books. According to a 2001 survey, senior citizens bought more than 1/3 of all books sold in the US for roughly $8 Billion in sales. And that was in 2001. Tech advice for living to 100 and enjoying life when you get there

This was an interesting week if you want to think about living to 100. Evercare offered up its 2009 Evercare 100@100 Survey -- which included survey results from college seniors. Dr. Judith Rich was published in the Huffington Post with the question "Would You Want to Live to Be 100?" Both built on surveys that compared the lives of centenarians. In fact, from the Foundation for Health in Aging, "For people born in 1899, the odds of living to 100 were 400 to 1. Aging in place and tech-enabled healthcare are not in synch

Seniors do their best to live and stay well. If you live in Florida and go to a concert at 4:00 pm on a Friday, it's not surprising to be surrounded by seniors in their 80's and beyond, dressed up and slowly climbing the steep stairs up to the balcony. These concertgoers likely live in their own homes, drive their own cars, and enjoy concerts and perhaps a nice meal in a restaurant afterward. >>> Read more . . .
