EasyTechGuides launches visual iPhone and iPad guides for seniors

Intuitive manuals for new technologies were seemingly fictional until the launch of a new startup venture EasyTechGuides this past week. The company’s founder, Richard Donegan, aims to empower seniors with technology by creating visually intuitive guides for emerging devices and softwares.

“It came to my attention through research that there was a need for an unintimidating, easy way to be introduced to new technologies,” said Donegan. “Through our visual guides we aim to make the learning process seamless and ensure our customers have an on-hand guide for reference whenever necessary.”

Currently hosted on the ecommerce site Etsy, EasyTech’s pre-made guides are readily downloaded as PDFs from the company’s page for $5 per guide. The user then has the ability to save the guide to their computer or desired device and/or print off the guide to have in paper form.

“The most exciting part of EasyTechGuides for me,” said Donegan, “is the impact that harnessing these technologies can have in improving seniors day-to-day lives and enhancing connections with loved ones.”

As of today, the company offers guides for the iPhone and iPad with more to come. The iPhone and iPad guides cover the basics of usage including making phone calls, video chatting, sending emails and text messages, searching the Internet and more. Customers can also order custom guides based on their specific needs.

You can check out EasyTechGuides on Etsy or tune in to their Twitter (@EasyTechGuides) and Facebook for technology tips and advice.
