IGUARDFIRE FINDS A UNIQUE WAY TO HELP DETECT IF SOMEONE HAS FALLEN IN THE HOME

iGuardFire’s new innovative iGuardStove device shuts off unattended cooking using their patented motion sensing technology and now they’ve introduced the Activity Monitor, as an additional value added feature to the iGuardStove

The Activity Monitor can alert you when it doesn’t see any motion in the kitchen for a 3-hour period.  You can choose to receive either an email and/or text alert after that period suggesting you should check in on your loved one.

Bill Ferguson, iGuardFire’s CEO, said “We have heard from many of our customers that their loved ones had fallen and were unable to get up and lay undiscovered for hours or even a day or more.  This story is becoming a common issue, so we began to wonder if there was a way that we could incorporate a feature to help alert people. Knowing that we had a motion sensor located in the heart of the home we brainstormed some ideas and came up with our Activity Monitor.”

He also shared this story. “When we started recognizing the value of the sensors location in the home we were able to add to the Daytime Monitor, a Nighttime Monitor, that tracks wandering movements through the kitchen all night long.  After ONE night of beta testing a long-time customer called us to tell us how much she loved our device and the new feature. After her family and their mom’s neurologist were seeing that their mother was very tired during the day and they had suspected for a long time that their mom was not sleeping but they had no way to verify it.  Problem solved.  Our system tracked and recorded 8 events scattered throughout the night that proved their theory.  Now they are working on solving mom’s insomnia.”

The iGuardStove is a “must have” Smart Home Safety Device for families that are looking for peace of mind while keeping loved ones safe when cooking in their homes.
