Sengistix Announces Exciting New Remote Monitoring Program-SENS VISION

Sengistix SENS Vision service combines new two-way video technology and remote sensor monitoring in one service. This service will provide individuals with developmental disabilities and seniors aging in their homes with greater iindependent living and safety options.

Sengistix announces exciting new product line, SENS Vision. SENS Vision is a natural extension of the Sengistix remote monitoring technology currently provided to developmentally disabled and senior customers aging in place. SENS Vision uses sensors plus camera with unique two-way video and audio capability created just for this service. This provides a greater level of independence and safety for Sengistix customers.

When sensors aren’t quite enough, supervision and guidance can be provided from afar in the right doses to maximize independence. The SENS Vision service combines sensors and camera to add ‘eye on’ capability to other SENS services. Sengistix trained advocates monitor the sensor information and use cameras in common areas during specified time periods to provide supervision and guidance in just the right combination. This enables individuals to do as much for themselves as possible and still have ready access to guidance, suggestions and /or help to quickly get someone on-site if it’s needed.

With this new service, Sengistix introduces ‘CONECT’, a proprietary two-way audio and video capability to go along with its sensors and camera technology. The device looks like a regular picture on the wall…but then quickly provides two way audio and video capabilities on demand.

Interactive voice and visual feedback gives clients, family, staff and managers confidence that all is well. SENS and SENS Vision provide people with opportunities never before available. When concern about decision-making, or the “what if” when a caregiver can't be present at all times is a factor, these new resources allow greater independence to be ‘tried on’ with help available any time it is needed.

Sengistix, LLC incorporated in 2007 to bring sensor technology, developed for seniors by Healthsense, to assist individuals and caregivers in disability services and to meet the needs of seniors living in their own homes.
