Silicon Valley Smart Bed Technology Innovator BAM Labs Appoints Healthcare Industry Veteran Casey Pittock

Pittock will lead BAM Labs' domestic and global expansion initiatives. He will help the company manage its surging demand for the BAM Labs Touch-free Life Care™ (TLC) under mattress sensors and cloud monitoring platform in the rapidly expanding smart bed market that addresses the $1.7 trillion in health spending related to chronic diseases.

Casey Pittock is a recognized leader in remote and mobile healthcare monitoring. As an executive with Lifeline Systems and Philips Lifeline, Casey helped increase home monitored subscribers from approximately 100,000 to over 500,000, and he led the nationwide increase in senior living market share ultimately serving over 100,000 residents in more than 1,000 senior living communities. Prior to Lifeline, he founded and served as president of TelCARE Systems, one of the industry's fastest-growing medical alarm providers. Lifeline Systems acquired TelCARE Systems in 1999, and Lifeline was subsequently acquired by Royal Philips Electronics in 2006 for $750 million. Casey has advised numerous start-ups and early stage health technology companies serving seniors, he was President/CEO of Wellcore, and served as acting president of Blue Libris. From 2004 to 2006, Casey was a member of the President's Council of the Assisted Living Federation of America. He graduated from Stanford University.
