Aging in Place Monitoring Device - Sonamba to Exhibit at Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show


Sonamba, a wellbeing monitor system from pomdevices, LLC, is exhibiting at CES (News - Alert) Unveiled on January 4, 2011 and at the 2011 International CES from January 6-9. Both Las Vegas based events are hosted by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).


Combining several technologies into one device, Sonamba is designed to keep seniors connected to family and caregivers every day through digital monitoring without being intrusive. It improves communication between seniors and their caregivers - especially those that live hundreds of miles away. Sonamba offers two-way messaging capabilities in addition to medication and calendar reminders, games and social networking, and a digital photo frame. The product's patented sensors keep caregivers informed on the status of their loved ones - not just in emergencies but everyday. This is the only product at CES Unveiled that focuses on aging in place technology. Sonamba retails for $549.00 with a $39.00 a month subscription fee and a range of flexible payment options.
