3rd Annual New Product & Technology Awards

LIBERTYVILLE, IL -- July 29, 2011 is the entry deadline for the 3rd Annual New Product & Technology Awards, the first competition of its kind to recognize innovative products, services and technologies for older adults and their families.

 

The 2011 entry forms are available online at agingawards.com. The website also provides complete program details including, categories and divisions, FAQs, judging criteria, what's new for the 2011 competition, and more.

 

Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Merit prizes are awarded in 29 categories and 10 divisions. Previous winners include: Area Agencies on Aging; Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans; Cardiocom; Cognifit; Dakim; e-Care Diary; GlynnDevins; The Hartford; Medicare Health Plans; National Institute on Aging; NavGate Technologies; Retirement Communities; Touchtown; and WellAWARE Systems.

 

The 2011 competition features 9 new entry categories to recognize the extraordinary growth of web-based resources and mobile applications for the older adult market.

 

The entry fee for web-based and mobile applications is $58.00 (USD). Web-based resources and mobile applications are encouraged to submit their entries online at  agingawards.com.

The entry fee for product, service, and technology entries is $78.00 (USD).

The New Product & Technology Awards is organized by the Mature Market Resource Center (MMRC), a national clearinghouse for professionals who work in senior markets. Other well-known MMRC programs include the 20th annual National Mature Media Awards, recognizing the nation's best advertising, marketing and educational materials for adults 50+, and National Senior Health & Fitness Day, the nation's largest older adult health promotion event always held the last Wednesday in May.
