New York City, June 15, 2021 – MyndYou Selected by World Economic Forum

New York City, June 15, 2021 – MyndYou and its AI-based virtual care assistant, MyEleanor, were selected from hundreds of candidates and products as one of the World Economic Forum’s 2021 “Technology Pioneers.”

MyndYou, co-founded by CEO Ruth Poliakine Baruchi and CTO Itay Baruchi, Ph.D., pairs simple but sophisticated technology and actionable data to help payers, providers, and community-based organizations keep seniors safe, engaged, and healthy at home.

The World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers are early- to growth-stage companies from around the world that have developed innovative technologies that are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.

As part of the Technology Pioneer program, Poliakine Baruchi will participate in World Economic Forum activities, events, and discussions throughout the year. MyndYou will also contribute to Forum initiatives over the next two years, working with global leaders to help address key industry and societal issues.

“We’re excited to welcome MyndYou to our 2021 cohort of Technology Pioneers,” said Susan Nesbitt, head of the World Economic Forum’s Global Innovators Community.

“MyndYou and its fellow pioneers are developing technologies that can help society solve some of its most pressing issues. We look forward to their contribution to the World Economic Forum in its commitment to improving the state of the world.”

“We’re so proud to be recognized as a healthcare technology pioneer by the World Economic Forum,” said MyndYou’s Poliakine Baruchi. “When it comes to pressing societal issues, equitable healthcare access for all is one of the most challenging. The industry is increasingly embracing innovation to improve population health, but there’s still work to do. We’re passionate about helping our partners deliver care more efficiently, improve access and outcomes, and lower the cost of healthcare for everyone.”

For the first time in the Technology Pioneer community’s history, more than 30% of the companies the WEF selected for the program are led by women. The firms also come from regions all around the world, proving that the technology industry is thriving far beyond Silicon Valley. This year’s cohort includes start-ups from 26 countries, with the United Arab Emirates, El Salvador, Ethiopia, and Zimbabwe represented for the first time. MyndYou is based in New York City.

The diversity of these companies extends to their innovations as well. This year’s Technology Pioneer firms are shaping the future by advancing technologies such as AI, the “Internet of Things” (IoT), robotics, blockchain, biotechnology, and more. The full list of Technology Pioneers can be found here.

Technology Pioneers were selected based on criteria that include innovation, impact, and leadership, as well as each company’s relevance to the World Economic Forum’s Platforms.
