Frost & Sullivan Unveils Top 20 Telehealth Markets at Digital Health Summit Summer Conference

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 11, 2012

Healthcare IT is on a continual expansion path, from the confines of traditional healthcare providers into consumer’s day-to-day lives. This movement is supported by an onslaught of technology, from smart phone applications (apps) that track calories burned, to vital sign monitoring from the comfort of a senior citizens’ home. With an eye on assessing growth objectives and tracking trends, Frost & Sullivan has partnered with Living in Digital Times’ Digital Health Summer Summit to introduce the latest findings in this connected health space, with a specific focus on analyzing the top 20 telehealth markets by revenue opportunity and transformative potential. The Summit takes place June 14 to 15, 2012 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, California.

Frost & Sullivan’s Senior Industry Analyst Zachary Bujnoch will acquaint summit attendees with opportunities in the digital health industry during his presentation, “Identifying & Establishing Your Markets.”

“Whether it’s mHealth, video telemedicine or remote monitoring, the new opportunities for digital health are plentiful, but are often quite convoluted or confusing, which results in limited growth,” said Frost & Sullivan Senior Industry Analyst Zachary Bujnoch. “However, if you follow the money, the lines are being drawn, showing an increasing number of telehealth markets with distinct customer and business models, helping to dispel this market

challenge.”

Attendees of the Summer Summit will benefit by incorporating knowledge of the key stakeholders, ensuring their organization’s novel technology meets consumer expectations and also aligns with physician and caregiver needs. Connected health organizations should also ensure their solution maintains an interoperable quality within the existing infrastructure.

“There is no silver bullet for the problems that face our health system, but one of the most promising solutions comes from innovative technologies used by consumers, healthcare practitioners, and payees,” said Jill Gilbert, Co-producer of the Digital Health Summit. “We are thrilled to have Frost & Sullivan as our partner. Their expertise will arm attendees with priceless insight into cutting edge growth opportunities to drive value and maximize success in the

marketplace.”

The partnership with the Digital Health Summer Summit is within Frost & Sullivan’s Connected Health program. For more information on the Summer Digital Health Summit, please visit http://www.digitalhealthsummit.com.
