What technology is available today to help boomers with Macular Degenreation? So much of the current items are for those with no sight issues: computers, video conferencing, etc. I have not seen much in the way of technology to assist the MD afflicted population. What is on the horizon for the future?

1. Adjustable magnification appliances like those from Video Eye or small screen portable magnifiers like that from Magnifico (sold through MaxiAids.)
